Staff cords are worn to show someone place on the staff chart within the unit. Also, if a cadet receives a cadet of the month award, they receive a cord for that, which they can wear in place of their staff cord.
Effective Immediately as of 3/18/2022: Cadets may no longer wear one cord on their right shoulder. Wearing a staff position cord on the left shoulder and a cadet of the month cord on the right shoulder is no longer authorized.
There are various color and styles of shoulder cords. If you wish to receive one for your staff position, or LDR team position, please talk with your cadet leadership!
