Daughters Of The American Revolution Award

Cadets may only receive this award once. Ribbon for this award may be worn on the cadet’s ribbon rack and worn on regular uniform days. Medals will not be worn on regular uniform days or during any type of competition. 7.7.8.1. This award is presented annually to one third-year (in a 3-year program) or fourth-year cadet (in a 4-year program) that meets the following criteria:

• Rank in the top 25% of their AFJROTC class.

• Rank in the top 25% of their high school class.

• Demonstrate qualities of dependability and good character.

• Demonstrate adherence to military discipline.

• Possess leadership ability and a fundamental and patriotic understanding of the importance of JROTC training.

7.7.8.2. The SASI and principal select the recipient and must request the award and a presenter not later than 1 March. The award devices and presenter can be requested from the nearest DAR chapter. See Attachment 7-17 for list of award points of contact.
